What this site collects, and why.
Short version: what you type into a form, plus the page it came from, used only to answer you.
What you send us
When you submit an inquiry form we receive what you entered: your name, company, email address, phone number, and the project details you chose to give, including a floor plan summary if you attached one from the floor planner. We also record the page the form was sent from, the page you first arrived on, and the site or campaign link that brought you here.
What we use it for
To reply to you, to prepare a quote or schedule, and to keep a record of the request. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing.
Who handles it
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, and inquiries are delivered to our staff as email through the company's own Microsoft 365 email, with an email delivery service as a backup. Those providers process the message only to deliver it to us. Inside ValuFlor it is read by the people who answer inquiries.
What stays on your device
- Your choice of light or dark background.
- Your motion setting (full or reduced).
- The rooms you draw in the floor planner, so the plan is still there when you come back.
- For the length of your visit, the page you arrived on and how you got here, so it can be included if you send an inquiry.
These are stored in your browser, not on our servers, and clearing your browser's site data removes them. The site sets no advertising cookies.
Maps and the 3D view
The coverage map loads when you scroll to it on a large screen, or when you press Load map on a phone. Its map images come from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address in order to send them, as any website you visit does. The floor planner's 3D view is served from valuflor.com; no third party receives anything when you open it.
Asking us to remove or correct something
Email info@valuflor.com or call (864) 286-8782 and tell us what you sent and when. We will remove or correct it, unless we are required to keep it as part of a job record.
